Custom Equine Portraits

Since I was just a little girl I have always been fascinated with the horse. I began drawing these wonderful creatures as a little girl and over the years my drawings have completely transformed into my own pieces of art. Pictured below are a few of my portrait drawings. I mainly work with pencil and charcoal, combining the two together to produce an eye catching end result. Over the years I have worked with pastels, oil paints, acrylics and colored pencils but always come back to the pencil/charcoal. In my opinion charcoal portraits make a flattering, realistic, and lifelike, representation of the equine model that I am capturing on paper.
