VV Talonica is a 14 year old large bone and body mare. She has a very pretty dished head with lots of expression. When I purchased her 4 years ago I was told she was saddle broke at one time. I purchased her to use as a brood mare and still haven't bred her, due to a recent divorce and the fact that I haven't bred her yet it is time for her to go to a new home where she will be used. She is a very lovely mare, that stands out from the rest. She is partially blind in her right due to an injury that was never taken care of prior to me purchasing her. This does not affect her in any way for use as a brood mare, and I think if someone was willing to take the time to work with her in gaining her trust before trying to saddle her and get her moving under saddle again she could make a good riding horse. She is a very easy keeper, easy to catch, does not need shoes, will stand for me to trim her feet, loads into the trailer but will not back out due to her not being able to see out of the one eye completely. I usually have to undo the center divider in my 2 horse and let her turn around and walk out otherwise she will stand there all day.
